‘Scandals’ to be highlighted on ‘The Writing Show’

Broad­cast on the Inter­net, The Writ­ing Show can be heard glob­ally, at your con­ve­nience, though any soft­ware that can play the pop­u­lar MP3 for­mat. Paula and her other hosts also do pod­casts. Long before Paula Twit­tered me an invi­ta­tion, I was a fan. She’s worked as a librar­ian, writ­ten her own books, and is good at see­ing lit­er­a­ture from the view­points of both a writer and reader.

Paula, aka Paula B., also cov­ers non­book top­ics rang­ing from script-writing to ghost­writ­ing. Among the show’s guests have been such lumi­nar­ies as David Simon, cre­ator of The Wire, whom Bob Andel­man interviewed.

But The Writ­ing Show isn’t about celebrity. Rather, in a warm, sup­port­ive way, Paula and col­leagues focus on the nuts and bolts of writ­ing and the chal­lenges of mak­ing a liv­ing from it.
