Podcast tells why Scandals is chillingly timely

Damn it! The Solomon Scandals novel—topic of a just-posted podcast—has become too timely. Billionaires are turning iconic news organizations into propaganda outlets on occasion. Witness The Washington Post’s defense of the White House ballroom.

My Kirkus-recommended novel, conceived in the 1970s, exposes the unholy triad of media, business and government. The book’s available in print and as an ebook, and the link below leads to the free AI MP3 podcast.

Scandals isn’t a frivolous beach read. Real life was complicated when I was digging into sleazy D.C. real estate deals.

Many of the deals enriched Democrats. No partisanship here—problematic investors ranged from a respected liberal senator to Justice Brennan. An Agnew crony cheated the Environmental Protection Agency of a required $600K cafeteria.

The novel explores how friendship can blur into corruption. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell the two apart.
